Tips:
* Don't loiter, you just draw more attention to yourself.
* Walk in, with a purpose. But don't be rude etc.
* Don't be in rush, act casual, 99% of people are not paying attention to you, they are there to look for stuff they want not check out what you are buying.
* If you get stuck in a line, that is cool, most people will be looking at adverts and other crap not what you are holding/buying.
* If people look at you and look at what you are holding, dont turn away, just politely smile. They will smile back/turn away/continue on their shopping trip with out remembering you etc.
* Diapers are not a big deal for 99.99999% of the population. Remember you have a distorted and over proportional view of there significance.
Best of luck, I went shopping today after taking 3 tries to walk in the shop. I had a think about it on my way over to the shop and figured that by acting cool I was less likely to draw attention to myself. You know what it worked.
I even went the chemist in the middle of Pitt Street mall in Sydney at 5:30pm.. aka peak time middle of the city.
It wasn't so bad. One cute woman saw what I was buying, I smiled, she smiled, she walked down another isle. No big deal.
I was wavering at the counter a big, acted cool. Paid my money, said thanks, walked out.
I feel like a fool for being so worked up about it for half a week.
