So I guess this post was somewhat inspired by the earlier 'Oops' post.

My background--I'm an AB/DL, living alone. A few weeks ago the central fire alarms went off in my condo building at 3 frickin' AM. I jumped out of bed, had one hand on the door handle until I realized I was only wearing a (short) T-shirt and a diaper. I went back, grabbed the first thing I saw, slipped it on, and ran out of the unit. Unfortunately, what I grabbed was a pair of white terry shortie-shorts, which didn't really do much to cover my obviously diapered bottom.

Most people exited to the main/front of the building--I exited to the back of the building. I was the only resident there, and the fireman (actually, a rather manly woman) asked why I was waiting in the back, and not the front like the others--I pointed to my shorts/diaper and said 'Look at me!!!' She smiled/smirked, said she's seen worse, and said they would clear the building for re-entry in just a few more minutes.

Moral of the story--know where your 'real' clothes are, in the event of an emergency!!!
(It was a false alarm, BTW; the condo managers have been resetting the fire alarm/sprinkler sensitivities for the buildings.)
