Hi.
I'm urinary incontinent so 24/7 in nappies as I've never gotten on with catheters.
I used Sudocrem, which is a fantastic barrier. Presuming you wear them a lot, make sure you keep your groin, bollocks and bum-crack well creamed. I also get some soreness at the head of my willie, so also tend to use cream there. Apart from your bum crack, your bum shouldn't need cream unless you wear the diapers very wet.
How much cream, and how often you put it on depends greatly upon the weather. If you live somewhere cold, your skin isn't going to sweat as much as if you live somewhere hot and humid - hence the reason I get more problems in summer.
Lastly... Remember that nighttime is when your body heals itself, so put on plenty of cream before you go to bed.
