I agree, it does depend on where you are. The other question is, what sort do you like, Disposable or Cloth ?
Adult Disposable Nappies are readily sold at the likes of Disabled Shops but they can get a bit intrusive when asking for details of your name and address. I think this is because some people with genuine disabilities can claim the tax back etc. If you go for cloth, again some of the Disabled Shops sell these but need to be be pre-ordered. A simpler alternative is to visit Sainsburys, Asda or Tesco - they sell Basic Bath sheets which although they are rectangular in shape can either be folded into a sort of Kite fold or cut to a square size. Plastic pants are generaly widely available on the internet though Boots the Chemist used to see sort of PVC pants but weren't that good
