On my airline, passengers would surrender(check) all personal belongings, including their clothes, at check in. Your ticket price would buy you a disposable paper jumpsuit and a diaper to wear during your trip. Folks could get up and use the bathroom but the diapers would be there for any emergencies - turbulence, disturbed passenger, etc - when they'd be confined to their seats.

Security would be close to airtight and you'd move through it and get on the plane FAST and ON TIME because it's all this "Take off your shoes. . .Open your bag . . .You can have this but not that!" BS that causes delays - not tighter security.

I hate to fly and I'd happily accept being treated like a prisoner on the plane (which I am already) if that meant I could get the trip over with as quickly as possible. My "Gulag Airlines" would probably be the cheapest and fastest way to fly out there.
