I've never had a problem with the tapes "letting loose" with my tena slip maxi, and they are the only nappy i wear, but it depends what you mean letting loose, if you mean coming unstuck, i think your doing something wrong! but i admit they do have a problem of the bottom set of tapes sometimes streching a bit and pulling away of the side of the nappy where they are attached to, its never come completely off but it can be annoying.
