I agree that you are very accomodating. I think your girlfriend is being rather selfish in this way. She should be more understanding to your feelings, because you have to share the home together. So I start to wonder if your gf generally has the attitude that she can do whatever she wants and you should just fit in.
That is why I made the comment yesterday that if your story is true, I wouldn't be surprised if problems come up in your relationship in other areas. Love and relationships is often about putting the other person's feelings before your own. Most of problems in relationships are caused by selfish behavoir in my opinion. Probably your GF should try to compromise a bit more in this case. Otherwise, I am sorry to say this, but I would start to question how much she values the relationship.
