Have them bring a babysitter for themselves, problem solved. People wouldn't leave real children unsupervised and uncared for (cleaning up messes, etc), they shouldn't be without one either. Maybe they are trying to recruit you for the job, it could be the easiest way to set exactly the rules and limits that you want.
