Well the first response was a bit scary but i appreciate others' thoughts.
So i related to what you (Suzie) said on several points. I have been particularly hesitant to go to meet-ups because i expect that as soon as i arrive, i will have guys assuming I am a 'mommy' and i'm not. But i have no idea how else to meet a guy who is a dl or is dl-accepting. How have you approached this?
I have read a lot of helpful posts on this board before so i don't want to make grand, sweeping statements about the men here, but there are a few who present as extremely bitter and insecure, and it is their antagonistic comments that likely do keep women from posting.
