Seriously though, I live in QLD and from about December through to March, I just don't bother much trying to wear nappies. It's just too hot. The couple of times I *have* done it, I've just worn a nappy, plastic pants, maybe a t-shirt, and nothing else. Obviously, this restricts things to indoor or overnight activities. I use terry nappies and they're pretty thick.
As a less sweaty alternative, you can just wet your pants or a bit of recreational bedwetting can be fun (don't knock it until you've tried it - it's easy to protect the mattress). A wet bed with a ceiling fan can actually cool you down.
