yeah, it's circumstances, not whether you're AB/DL. I just wear thinner ones if I'm going out in them, which I do very rarely, but prefer nice thick nappies in private. Sometimes I'll wear one nappy over another as well, just to make it even thicker; I have heard in the past that ABs like the thicker nappies b/c it makes them waddle, but just wanted to differentiate from that :)
