I usually use a towel as a nappy and wear bloomer style rubber pants under loose bermuda shorts when going to the beach; when the nappy is wet I go for a swim and take it off in the water, swill it, squeeze it and just walk out with it. Nobody notices and every one expects to see a towel drying at the beach. For changing, I wrap and pin a small towel round my waist, then wrap a larger towel over this and drop my bermudas and let the water out of the legs of the bloomers; ease down the waist of the rubber pants and tuck in the smaller towel, pull the rubbers back up and pull on dry bermudas. Somtimes I use drop front terry trainers.
