CHAPTER FOUR
Julie arrived at the hospital a few minutes after the ambulance crew did and immediately went to the emergency room. She gave the nurse all the information she could and then asked how bad he was hurt. The nurse told her they would have a doctor talk to her later when they knew more about his condition.
All Julie could do was wait and pace as the minutes seemed to drag by slowly. She finally forced herself to sit down in a chair and wait as patiently as she could for information. She waited for over an hour and dozed off finally at around 2:00am in the morning.
Julie was awakened by a gentle shake on her shoulder from a doctor. “you're the one that found him right miss?” Julie shook her head yes and then spoke. “How bad is he hurt?” The doctor sat down next to her and began to tell her everything.
“He's in critical condition right now. He lost a lot of blood and had to have four units put into him during surgery. He has severe concussion, 6 broken ribs, 3 of which were compound fractures. His back looks to be ok but will be a bit sore for a few days at least. He has some swelling of the brain as well right now and we are putting a temporary shunt in to relieve the pressure. Right now he's in a coma so all we can do is wait. It is going to be touch and go the next few days. If he wakes up then we will be know more.
Now I have a question I need to ask of you miss. Do you know why he was wearing what he was when you found him?” Julie went on to explain that she suspected he was medically incontinent and had been for some time. She did not know if he had any family and told the doctor that he kept to himself most the time.
After being told that there was nothing more that she could do and it would be best to go home and wait she finally left. She gave the doctor her cell phone number as a contact number and asked to be informed of when he might be allowed to have visitors. Julie was exhausted as she left the hospital and her brain felt like mush.
Dave woke up in the hospital three days later as a nurse was changing his wet diaper. The nurse noticed he was awake and spoke softly to him. “You're in the hospital right now. You were brought in a few nights ago after you were found almost dead in the middle of a roadway. I need to ask you a few questions so please try to stay awake a little longer if you can.”
Dave felt like he had been caught in a bad dream as he answered the questions he was asked. The nurse asked him his name, date of birth, current age, who the current president was and then asked the question he dreaded the most.
“So can you tell me why you were wearing an incontinent brief when you were brought in?” Dave hated the question but went on to explain that he had been incontinent since he was ten and in a very bad accident. The nurse wrote this on his chart and told him a doctor would be in to see him shortly.
Dave was examined by a doctor and asked more questions. This was followed up by a visit from the police the next day as they asked questions about what had happened to him exactly. The officer wrote out a report and was very patient with him as she could see he was obviously still in a lot of pain. She apologized to Dave for taking so long and asking so many questions when it was obvious he was hurting badly still. Finally she finished writing everything down and left the room. She stopped at the nurses station on the way out and told them that he seemed to be in a lot of pain and felt they should know in case something was wrong.
A nurse came into Dave's room a few minutes after the officer left and gave him a shot to help with the pain and to make him sleep more. He was healing very slowly and almost seemed to not care if he lived or died. This worried the nurse a bit so she left a note for the doctor to see about maybe getting someone to talk to him a bit and find out if it was the pain or something else.
Julie was notified a week later that Dave was finally awake and out of intensive care. She was relieved he was going to live with no more permanent damage. She asked if he could have visitors but was told that he had requested not to have any visitors. With this as the case they could not allow anyone to see him without his consent while he was in the hospital.
Dave was released from the hospital three weeks after he had almost died. His left side was stiff and sore as he was wheeled to a waiting taxi cab. He slowly rose and with the help of a cane got into the cab for the ride back to his apartment. He dreaded going home after all that had happened but knew he could not avoid it.
Once he was back in his apartment he made sure to close all the shades so no one could see in. with that accomplished he began looking for another school where he could transfer his credits to without having to start all over again. He felt that his secret shame would surely be the talk of the entire campus by now and debated even going back long enough to pick up a few minor items left behind.
He did not know who it was that had found and saved him and he did not want to know either. He felt that whoever it was would just tease him and harass him about having to wear diapers. As far as he was concerned, his life here was over now that surely everyone knew and would torture him about it.
He found four schools through the internet and sent an e-mail to each of them before leaving for the campus to pick up his transcripts and references from his teachers. He was not planning on finishing out the year in a place that would become a walking nightmare to him now that everyone knew his shameful secret.
With the help of a cane Dave slowly made his way to the school campus for what he was sure would be the last time. He would endure the jeers and other rude comments just long enough to get what he needed to get and then leave for good. He did not want to go through the rest of the year being picked on and tormented simply because he wore diapers.
Dave made it to the office without seeing much of anyone since most everyone was in class at the moment. He asked for a copy of his transcripts and left after receiving them from a fairly attractive blonde student assistant. He politely thanked her and turned and left the office as quickly as he could without bothering to look back at what he felt he could never have nor even ever deserve.
Conflicting emotions tore at him as they always did when he saw a good looking girl. He was so tired of being alone and longed so badly for someone special, but he knew in his mind that it could never be. “After all”, he reasoned, “what do I have to offer any woman? Nothing but dirty diapers. What woman in her right mind would ever want that type of hell. No, I don't deserve anyone as it is and I have no right to hurt anyone else and make them pay for my mistakes.”
Dave was lost in thought as he walked slowly towards the computer sciences building to get a few letters of recommendation from his professors so he could copy and forward them to whichever school would take him. Dave made his way up the stairs of the building in pain as was normal for him lately. By the time he reached the landing his left leg was screaming in pain.
Dave stopped for a minute to give his bad leg a short rest before continuing up the stairs once more in pain. He had been given a prescription for some pain pills but had not filled it. He felt the pain was nothing more than what he deserved for being so stupid as to allow himself to get hurt. And yet somehow managing to survive again.
By the time he reached the second floor he was in so much pain he could barely stand. The doctors had told him to stay off his feet for at least another week and to have someone help him a bit while he finished healing. As was normal for Dave he did as much as he could and pushed himself harder than he should have. He wanted this day to be over as fast as he could get it done so as to not have to deal with any of the jeers and other rude comments about his diapers.
Dave went to move down the hall and almost fell backwards down the stairs as his left leg gave out from under him. He screamed in pain as he started to fall and was caught just in time by someone who helped him get away from the stairs and then helped him set down with his back against a wall while he panted for breath. He was seeing stars for few minutes until the pain subsided and he managed to catch his breath.
Standing in front of him with a concerned look on her face was the same girl he had seen outside his apartment right before he got hurt. “You think you can stand again now if I help you?” Dave looked at her as he tried to stand and once again the pain was so bad his leg refused to work. He found her to be very pretty and this only served to torment him even more since he knew he could never have anyone, especially someone this pretty.
Julie left him for a few minutes as she went into one of the classrooms to get some help from one of the professors so she could get Dave safely down the stairs and get him to the campus medical center. He tried once more to stand up and fell hard with a\sickening crack from his left leg as he hit the floor. He let out another scream of pain and passed out as the professor and Julie were coming out of a classroom to help him.
Julie immediately noticed that Dave had passed out and his leg was twisted at the wrong angle. The professor helped Julie lift Dave and together they carried him to the elevator. The elevator opened on the main floor and they once more carefully carried him out to a waiting golf cart that the campus security used. They lifted him carefully onto the cart and strapped him into a seat before leaving for the medical center on the other side of the campus.
Once there the security guard and the professor helped carry him inside and laid him down on a gurney. Neither of them noticed that Dave's diaper was leaking a little as they wheeled him into a waiting room. Julie stayed by his side the whole time and patiently waited for the campus doctor. She checked his jacket for any pain meds and found only a disposable diaper in a zipped shut pocket.
She felt sorry for him having to endure so much pain and to do so alone with no one to talk to. She still found him attractive as she stared at him. She then noticed that he was leaking a little. She had been told that the doctor would be at the clinic in about 15 minutes. She decided right then that she was going to have to do something or soon the leaking would get worse.
Julie unzipped his jacket pocket and took out the large diaper and set it on his chest. She then proceeded to carefully unbutton and unzip his jeans so she could pull them down just far enough to get to his wet diaper. She pulled the jeans down slowly and stopped above the bad spot on his leg, revealing Dave's very soaked and leaking diaper
Julie looked carefully at how Dave had his diaper on and how it was fastened before undoing the tapes on it. She was a bit nervous about changing a diaper on someone this old and big. After undoing the six tapes she hesitated a moment before pulling the front of the diaper down. She liked what she saw but forced herself to continue with the change. Carefully she rolled him on his right side and removed the wet diaper. She rolled the wet diaper up and taped it shut just as Dave began to to wake back up.
Dave was embarrassed about having a nurse change his diapers at the hospital, but this time he was mortified with fear as the cute girl carefully rolled him on his side and slid a clean diaper in place before laying him back down flat again. She then reached down and pulled the front of the diaper in place and carefully taped it shut tightly on him.
She was just pulling his jeans back up when she noticed he was awake again. She saw the look of fear and pain on his face and merely smiled as she helped him get his jeans back up and fastened shut once again. Before he could find any words to say she leaned over him again and kissed him deeply and passionately. This shocked him completely and he was sure he was being used as a pawn in a sick game of some kind.
“I probably shouldn't have done that but you were leaking and obviously needing the change. I'm sorry if I scared you. I wont tell anyone ever about the change or your unfortunate medical condition down there. As for the kiss, I couldn't resist. You are too good looking and too nice to be single. After you get your leg fixed up we can discuss this privately and see where to go from there.
Personally I find your condition different but it does not turn me off nor am I going to tease you about it. Too many others I bet have done that to you in the past and I bet hurt you pretty badly. No one else needs to know unless you tell them, and I wont tell anyone unless you want me to. By the way, My name is Julie and I want you.”
END CHAPTER FOUR
CHAPTER FIVE
Dave's head was spinning with confusion and conflicting emotions as a nurse and a doctor both came in to talk to him. They asked how he had managed to fall and where exactly it hurt. The doctor removed his jeans and was startled to see a diaper on him. Julie quickly spoke up and told the doctor that Dave was medically incontinent and the diapers were not some stupid initiation prank.
Dave explained that he was going to the computer sciences building to get some paperwork he needed when the accident occurred. He admitted that he was supposed to be at home taking his pain pills and healing for the next three weeks instead of trying to move around. He had used a cane instead of the crutches they had given him at the hospital following his release.
The doctor listened patiently as the nurse took his blood pressure and temperature. He was probing Dave's leg gently around the black and blue mass that was all swollen up when Dave let out a scream as the doctor touched a part of his leg that was all dark and swollen. Julie grabbed him quickly to keep him from falling as he almost passed out from the pain.
The doctor looked closely at the bad area and then told Dave what he suspected. “I'm pretty sure you broke it, but I need some x-rays to be sure. I'm going to give you a mild pain killer to ease the pain a bit After the shot takes effect you should be feeling a lot less pain from the leg.
The nurse came back a few minutes later and gave Dave a shot in the right arm. She also dropped off another diaper for Dave as well as a blanket he could cover up with so no one would see what he was wearing while they took him to the x-ray room. Julie helped Dave cover up so no one could see his diaper.
The shot eased the pain in his leg considerably. Julie joined them as they walked to to the X-ray room. She waited outside the room as they took x-rays of his leg. They wheeled him back to the room with Julie once more by his side. They were told it would take a few minutes to get the films developed and to be patient.
They waited in silence as Dave slowly drifted off to sleep from the effects of the shot. Julie was glad to see him asleep peacefully this time. A few minutes later the doctor came back in with the x-rays and the nurse. Dave was still asleep as the doctor showed Julie that the leg was broken but not badly. It would have to be set before they could put it into a cast to heal.
Julie was asked to wait in the hall while they went through the process of setting the leg. Another shot was given to Dave just as Julie left the room. She waited just outside the door for about 15 minutes before the doctor came out and told her she could come back in now. The nurse was carefully applying the padding to his left leg and wrapping a long gauze bandage around it. Dave was waking up and could not help but see down her top with the way she was bent over wrapping his leg. Dave tried to be polite and not look, but it had an effect on him that served to further embarrass him.
The nurse noticed this and quickly realized why he had turned his head as best he could. She merely laughed a moment before speaking. “Go ahead and look if you like. I'm not ashamed of my body and it's only a natural reaction that most males have. Dave blushed and tried hard not to look as she finished wrapping his leg and making sure it was done correctly.
When she finished she finally took a last look at his obvious attempts to be polite and yet still look at her chest a bit. She laughed and pulled her shirt up and then lifted her bra as well so he had a full view of her chest. “There! Now you don't have to wonder anymore what they look like. She lowered her top and then whispered something to Julie who smiled.
She gave them some instructions on what to watch out for and how to carefully wash the leg with a damp sponge. She smiled at Julie and told her she would be back in about 15 minutes with some medicine for him. Julie thanked her as she left the room.\and heard the door lock thus insuring privacy.
Dave tried to speak bu Julie merely silenced him with a long and passionate kiss. Dave was still embarrassed about being excited down there and was hoping it would pass quickly. “The nurse gave me some instructions on how to handle the problem down there so you can rest more comfortably. She suggested I basicly give you a hand job to relieve your tension and help relax you.
Dave was shocked to hear this and blushed deeply. He thought for minute that Julie was merely joking and perhaps trying to cheer him up a bit. He was surprised to hear her undoing the tapes on his diaper as she spoke softly to him. I'm going to help you relax and take care of a problem of mine as well, but not quite the way she had in mind. So just relax and let me take care of you.”
Dave wanted to say something but was unable to think straight. A moment later his attention was focused on Julie as she slowly took his erection and started to lick on it like it was a treat. He instantly became fully erect as Julie smiled at him. She carefully climbed up on the bed and lifted her top then pulled her jeans and panties down and out of the way.
“I haven't had anything in almost a year and changing you got me very wet and horny. Hang on for the ride of your life.” A moment later she slid down onto him and began to rock back and forth while he moaned. “I bet no one has ever done this with you before. The others all failed to get past their own stupid head games I bet. Damn, you're good!” She fell silent after that as she made love to him and he finally exploded a moment before she did.
Dave was exhausted and content for the first time in years as Julie lowered her shirt and began to raise herself off of him. They had both lost track of the time as they heard the nurse walk in. “That wasn't quite what I had in mind but I bet it felt pretty damned good from the way you both were sounding from outside the door. Don't worry about the mess. It will get cleaned up later after you head out.
Dave, the doctor has ordered you to stay off your feet for the next week or risk breaking those ribs again. Once you change I have some shorts you can wear for now to cover up your brief so no one sees it. Also, here is your pain prescription you got from your hospital visit. I expect you to follow directions for your own sake and stay off your feet. If you have to go anywhere I expect you to use the crutches and not just the cane. If someone can stay with you for a few weeks that would be best. If you have any questions call here or the hospital.”
Julie finished slowly climbing down off of Dave and made short work of changing his diaper once more. Once they were finished with that she carefully removed his jeans the rest of the way and then slid the large shorts on over his diaper. She kissed him once more then helped him off the bed and onto the crutches. Slowly they made their way out of the clinic and over to a nearby parking area where Julie had parked her car.
