We dont go to the beach that often, but this last summer mom decided to go, and embarrase me greatly. Mom came home from work in a hurry and grabbed some things quikly and told her friend (my babysitter) and kids lets go. I asked for a change first and mom said she would do it when we got there, and pulled me out the door and we all piled in the van. Then i asked were we were going and mom told me that it was a surprise for us kids. (Oh did to mention that her friend, whom we live with now, has two acctual children that are out of diapers unlike me.)IT was swimming at the beach. Any way when we got to the beach mom took me to the unisex family restroom to get me changed. Well usually i get a standard cloth diaper for swimming, but mom said she had packed in such a hurry,and all she had was a couple single diapers (which was strange) and a heavy overnight cloth prefold in the diaper bag, she apologized,then mom started to put the overnight one on cause my diaper always has to have a bulge. (her rule) I protested, which is way, way naughty, so she undid the side she had already pinned. I started pleading for mercy, but to late. Mom added the other two single diapers to it and pinned it on. Then the usual plastic pants and swimming trunks, but no tee shirt like i usually get. Then she grabbed me by the arm, took me out on the beach , and set us up in the middle of the beach! Not off to the side like usual. Well after a few minutes all of it blew over as normal and we went in the water swimming. Then her friend called us out for snacks she had brought with. Mom and i started for the blanket when i froze.Suddenly very aware of my wet, sagging, soaked, very thick diaper and noticed there was a group of teenagers that had set up next to our stuff.I asked for a towel and mom said no way. Then she grabbed me by the arm and said lets go, until she saw the look in my eye. She laughed and said come on. Then as we got close one of the boys whispered to his friend to look at my diaper. Mom heard it and ignored it with a big grin. Then she made me sit on the side they were on. Thats when one girl asked loudly, why are you in diapers. I just wanted to shrink into nothing, turned red and froze. Mom just said calmly i have some wetting problems and this is how we deal with it. Well that girl obvously let her group of friends know, plus some, and her loud comment drew others attention to me. Nothing more was said aloud, but there was a lot of laughs and whispers from them. Mom made me stay for another hour or so cause she wasnt going to cut the fun day short for this. I resorted to playing in the water as much as mom would let me. Finnally we were leaving, and i thought, great!, a diaper change until mom reminded me that was the only diapers she brought with, so mom told me she would change me as soon as we got home. Mom gave me my tee shirt for the ride home. I was very being good on the way home, but mom wasnt done yet. Half way she shouted who wants ice cream and the other two shouted yah! Of course. Well when we got to Dairy Queen they got out and i offered to wait in the car. She said no, babys cant be left alone, and reminded me that i had been here before in my diapers. YAH! Just not like this. These diapers were thicker than normal a sagging wet! Then in we went and while mom and her freind were ordering i heard a loud laugh with an" o my gosh it is diaper boy." The kids from the beach were sitting in there haveing a treat already. NO WAY!Mom turned around and laughed. To add insult to injury after ordering mom said "lets change your diaper while they make our stuff (a little louder than normal)" and took me in the restroom. I said i thought you didnt have another diaper. Thats when mom said "no, i just wanted to have some fun". "I knew you would complaine and make it more fun." So i asked mom,is that why we are here. So those people can see me diapered still? Mom said no that was just a bonus. Thats when i said some thing naughty,i cannot repeat, and yes that was bad, cause it lead to another prefold night time diaper with extra layers for bulk. Then she put on my over all type romper shortalls, instead of shorts so i couldnt hide my diaper with my shirt. When walked out the teens just had many comments and mom made sure we walked between them all. I heard giggles and one comment about how i must REALLY be a baby cause someone noticed the snap crotch. Well we had to stay until everyone finished eating and you know how slow kids are with ice creme cones. Well after that we went home. Mom hasnt embarressed me in a while. I have got used to the looks when mom makes me wear the baby style , and snap crotch clothes and the diapers are almost a normal thing to me now.This kind of took me off gaurd. It was embarresing but kind of exciting also. When we got home she wasnt done yet! She asked me to come upstairs so i did thinking relief from my thick diaper was coming and she did have a prefold diaper layed out. She said what fun this was, then she pulled my pants down, thanked me for a good time and PINNED THE DIAPER OVER THE TOP, pulled on a bigger pair of plastic pants and took me to bed early. While tucking me in she said dont ever talk naughty to me again! Or THIS will be your new stanard diaper! She didnt carry through with that threat, but i will not forget the lesson.
