Unlike an infant, you have a choice. Simply stay out of diapers for a few days, and use any gentle medicated skin cream on the rash. A and D ointment works well. The Zinc Oxide creams work with babies because they coat the affected areas wits a cream that doesn't wash off easily, preventing poop and pee pee from contacting it. By "growing up" for a few days and being potty trained, you can do even better.
