I don't know if your girlfriend is an AB or DL, but I suspect that since she is interested in pooping her diapers she is an AB type. In that case hiding to go poo in her diapers is very toddlerlike. All 3 of my kids did this when they were on the verge of potty training. My youngest even did this once when she was nearly 5 years old.
