When you leave school to enter a profession the stress is only just beginning for most.A fetish like this as someone else pointed out is started very early in life.However I believe that it cuts across all intellegence,educational,ethnic and finantial levels of society.Stress plays a big role in how deeply and frequently we participate in out fetish as does a persons personal freedoms and relationships.A high level professional can have a lot of pressure and a low income worker can be under stress as well(poverty is stressful).So this is really a very complex behavior with quite individual and unique facets.
