Well, I wear a business suit a few times a year, which is pretty reasonable for a symphony in the U.S. The pants have enough extra space for the diaper if I'm wearing it, too. The size change is at most an inch or so.

There are no laws against wearing something tight over your diaper but under your pants; I'd try pantyhose or see if I couldn't get a women's girdle. Biking shorts can do the trick, too, or for everyday wear I just use my plain old fruit-of-the-loom jockey style underwear. Noone seems to notice, and, if they do, they will be too polite to say anything, especially if there are no leaks. You may see an old lady in diapers, too.

Besides, unless you go with a friend, people won't talk to you much except during intermission, when it will be no worse than a crowded time at school. There will be *way* too much hubbub to hear a diaper, so relax....think of going to a very happy class, where everyone will be happy (there's this cool movie to watch or somesuch). Well, almost everyone--I've run into the occasional sourpuss.

And one other faux-pas to avoid: Don't show up late, show up early so you can relax, find your seat, all during the pleasant hubbub before the show.

If you don't have the pants to go with that suit and tie, I would suggest you go rent one...but with your professional course I can also foretell of you owning a suit..they look good for visiting prospective schools.

P.S. I wear depends overnights, which aren't particularly quiet, but are most readily available where I live.
