I don't know much about computers and have asked the same questions.Every so often I have my old computer "tuned up" by an expert to get rid of viruses and maximise efficiency. But I don't want her to discover where I've been so I do as much deleting of history, temp files and cookies etc as I can before she sees it.There is software that "cleans" your hard drive but so many choices that I don't know which is best to use.Can anyone suggest a good program for cleaning and ridding of viruses?I'd rather do it myself if I can but like I said I'm not too handy with software yet but I'm learning.I think porn sites send stuff to everyone reguardless of where you have been on the internet but if you have been to any porn sites,even by accident,it seems that someone knows.I think it's called spyware and it get into your computer by downloading unsafe or unknown material.Sorry I couldn't help more.
