First of all the porn spam has nothing to do with your interest in AB stuff. Many people get porn spam to some degree or another and that includes people who never go to porn sites. It's just part of the internet. Porn spammers don't study demographics before they push the send button. They'd send it to mother therasa without so much as a blink. They get your address from legitimate places that you don't mind giving it to.

As for cleaning up the computer -everything I've seen posted is good - I would only add that you might (depending on your level of skill) try to search the registry for evidence if you are trying to be thorough. That's where you'll find the residual stuff you fear will be found. Things like the URL history buffers.
Also since we mention buffers, if you copy or cut stuff to create documents or pictures while surfing make sure you clear or eliminate document history buffers and your clip board.
My guess is that no one in your household knows how or where to look beyond the obvious temp and history files. And .. they probably don't have any inclination to look. just do the basics and don't sweat the deeper stuff. Do you really think they will try to undelete stuff on your harddrive?? If that's the case these people have some serious problems (and some savvy skills - it's not just anyone who knows enough to do this)If this is the situation I would buy my own computer, like a used laptop and just not let anyone access it.(you can probably get one for under $300 that would surf fine-maybe a lot less if you are a good shopper)
