The Tena Maxi are my favourite.
They hold a LOT and I mean not just liquid contents. I'm basically a fan of poopy nappies and I like to stay in them as long as possible. That means usually the poop will be spread everywhere. But the Tena Maxi is the only nappy I really rely on because they seem to never leak (Of course there are limits :-)
I reckon they really worth a try.
