Ran out of soy milk this weekend (contains some stuff I seem to need for depression), ended up buying a can of soy formula from the local grocery store. It tasted pretty sweet, covering a slight bitter aftertaste.
Not my turn-on, but not a problem to eat.
The trouble with babies is that they can't handle minor problems as well as adults, so the babyfood has to be pretty sterile. This was pretty clear from the directions on the can, which talked about maintaining sterility while the formula was warmed...I just drank mine cold, with no special precautions and no problems.
