You can refuse the consult and tell the doctor that you're going to just wait it out. If it doesn't change, you'll let her know. But remember, now that this is part of your permanent medical records. So wear when you want to. Telling her you wet the bed, set the wheels in motion. Just tell them, you've had some close calls and wear, just in case, nothing will come of it, unless it's fecal incontinence. Then they'll probe your anus for muscle tone etc.
