You have described Pampers (or indeed many of the main baby nappies) perfectly... stuffers that lock and hold wetness and expand lots.
I use the largest Pampers (with the tapes torn off) inside an adult disposable. It easily doubles the life expectancy of the nappy... and as you have already mentioned... it expands nicely.
