What I don't think you realize, is that the girl you describe is actually in better mental health than most.
Good relationships are about compromising so both of your needs get met. What I said earlier still applies...go, do things you enjoy, you will find friends in any case. Volunteer somewhere if necessary. And don't forget to make some contact with the BDSM community in your area...those folks are pretty open-minded.
