You won't find anyone here who wants you to stop wearing or using diapers.:)
There are a couple of issues you do have to think about that others can't decide for you.
Are you prepared to keep using diapers in the face of his negative reaction?...would you be sorry you got into diapers if it made him break up with you?
Are you afraid of,neutral toward,or even turned on by getting to actually need the diapers?(There are ways to avoid this and ways to encourage it).
When you say you want to "get up and put them on",it sounds like you don't sleep diapered.I assumed you were not living with the boyfriend since you only recently discovered he wears them...if you don't,wearing diapers at night (and possibly learning to wet them overnight) is one of your key opportunities to get into the habit,while if you share a bed I can see your frustration.
