Thanks for the interesting comments :) Yeah I agree with mostly everything you said. I've never had to feel embarrassed for needing to be nurtured or babied like a man would so thats something men have to deal with that women don't to a point.
For example I still suck my thumb but I would never do that in public because it would be frowned upon. So women also have a line as to what is accpetable and non acceptable mature behavior.
My opinion on Audioslave is that Chris Cornel (hope I spelled his name right) Is probably one of the top vocalists of rock. His voice alone carries the band, where as with Soundgarden they were a group of progressive talent.
I'm not liking much of the evolution in music today. I find most of Audioslave's stuff over done and it leaves me wanting a more stripped down sound to compliment Chris's vocals.
Velvet Revolver with Scott Weiland and Slash is just plain garbage. In my opinion.
I was getting into Eyes Adrift with bassist Krist Novasleic and Curt Kirkwood from the Meat Puppets but then they went and packed it in suddenly. So music is in a sad state right now.
Green Day's new single American Idiot is quite impressive but its the same formula they've used before. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
