I don't think my desire to wear diapers is made up (yes I know you didn't say that, but stay with me here). I also think anyone reading this who has tried to give up their diapers (and not act on the desires) would agree that there is no choice in having the desire. My wife has a masters degree in counseling and we've discussed sexual fetishes at great length. I've also read a lot about the scientific research that is going on in the area of sexuality. Now, I'm no expert, but I have gone to great lengths to try and educate myself about my desires for diapers.
I believe that what this research will ultimately show is that these things get wired into the brain at an early age and can't be undone. I can trace my desires to wear diapers to the age of 3. Later when I was 5 and diapered myself in secret (because my mother refused to do it) I remember having an erection I didn't understand (but it sure felt good). Just thinking about doing it gave me an erection at the time. I believe homosexuality will be found to work the same way. Now I don't have any research to back that up, but from what I've seen so far, that's the conclusion I draw. That would mean that homosexuals don't have any more choice in their attraction to the same sex as we have in our desires for diapers.
