There's lots of material on this forum about telling GFs. It's worth reading.
If your GF freaked out, it looks like your marriage to her will be short-lived.
Suggestions:
1) Explain to your GF that the only thing that has changed with you when you told her about your own personal sex life is that you are now being a little more honest with her. Emphasize that you are not asking her to have anything to do with it; it's obviously not for her.
2) You can show her some on-line material. Most everyone here is fairly ordinary except that they like diapers. Also, take a look at Bitter Grey's den. There, you will find the sort of "don't panic" material she needs to see. If she's still worried about the "perversion" aspect of it, you might want to look up DSM IV (or whatever number the "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental disorders is up to" under the paraphilias.
There, you will discover that your fetish is not to be treated UNLESS it interferes with your other functioning..In other words, it's not a problem in and of itself. Being obsessed with it can be a problem, but it's the obsession that's at issue.
I've been seeing shrinks for about 10 years, and I told them about my diapers -- I decided that if I wanted to feel better, I'd better tell the whole truth. The result was a big yawn -- except from my current shrink who idly wondered how you stand up and pee into a toilet while wearing a diaper one day. (You stick your thumb into your waistband and pull it down, and hold your penis with the other hand)
So 3) If she thinks you need help, take her along to the shrinks (or even a sex counselor) and let her hear the message from them..
