Last I checked, Mr Bush has spent so much money on this war in Iraq that "tax and spend" liberal (an old moniker) needs to be replaced by "spend and spend" republican. Just where do you think all this money being spent is going to come from? Short answer: Higher Taxes. Inflation (also a tax, shrinks everyone's money). These are good things?
It's a good thing to be torturing prisoners in both guantanamo bay and in iraq?? Hint: noone will take us seriously on humanitarian issues anymore.
And P.S. Bush's own dad gave a very good reason for not invading Iraq at the time -- he foresaw not having any politically good way of bringing our troops home from the quagmire, and has even said so in interviews.
Speaking of handouts, do you know how much of the cost of the war has been spent with friends of Mr. Bush -- including those who had previously defrauded the government on projects -- in effect handouts? We don't need handouts-- we need Mr. Bush not to spend us all into the poorhouse.
