I don't know him or you, but I don't think it is love if he is giving you an ultimatim. I know I am a sucker when it comes to love, I was raised to belive love is a real thing, when you care for another person more than you care for yourself. Everyone probably has their own definitions and ideas but I think if a man loves a woman he loves her if even if she wears diapers. If a man loves a woman he loves her even if she won't ever wear diapers. If their is such great friction over one topic, I don't know if it is worth saving or pursuing. I don't think anyone who is interested in you just because you wear diapers and has never talked about other interests is worth it either.
The best advice I have, is listen to your heart, know what you want, I hope you are arround this board for a long time (as well as all girls) I would love to see a community with actual friendship's that develop, where people can discuss our common interests in diapers and other topics as well. A place where as freindships develop and who knows maybe ocasionally love blossoms and if it does all the members of the community are genuinely happy for the other. Maybe I am a fool maybe the concept of love is dead in the world. I know I love my GF, but it is not based on any one aspect of who she is or what she enjoys.
