Josh catheters are great fun with diapers. And I agree with the other post on the 48-hour as being a maximum time however I understand some go longer. And yes it very important to keep everything clean. One useful method to help prevent a UT infection is lots of cranberry juice. While not the most tasty you will get use to it and it’s a lot better that an infection.
Now as for sleeping with one in while diapered good luck, I have yet to make it through the night with out leaking, one nite I woke up to a soaked bed with the wife sleeping right next to me. She is OK with the D/L thing but I’m not so sure about the catheter play. I managed to slip some towels in under the sheets and it was dry by morning. She is still trying to figure out why we needed a new mattress and what the rush was all about getting it so fast.
As far as it hurting, use more lube, a good one to try is Astroglide. Also try a smaller size I use a 12FR, sometimes and I hardly know its there.
