You forgot the part about how irritating that f*ing rubber chicken was...especially that stupid "buck buck buck..." noise. Let's try:
"On the second day, andrew brought in that stupid f*ing rubber chicken, and had been making "buck, buck"ing noises all day long. She was sick of it. If she was going to have a chicken, at least she could have a real one, like she did at her home on the farm. Those things at least responded to petting. "
Anyone else? (No filling it what happens next, that's got to be left to the imagination -- there's nothing so banal as spelling out that part!)
