I know exactly where you're coming from. I was the shortest kid in my grade and my bedtime was embarrassingly early. By day I was running around wearing nerd spectacles and a pudding basin haircut... By night I was romping in my 'little kid' pajamas! Being an occasional bedwetter back then I still slept on a noisy plastic sheet. I felt so geeky, knowing full well that many people in my class were out at parties while I was tucked up in bed. It's a great feeling, so cosy and babyish, although I'm kinda glad Goodnites hadn't been invented yet.
