Actually, I believed what you were just saying about this being a male dominated thing for years, until I got a little older and became more confident about asking women to participate.
Here's what I found: If you tell someone not into this fetish that you like to wear diapers, they automatically make the sexual fetish connection in their head. Not true if, say, you told them you liked to dress up in civil war clothes, or you prefer to dress goth. Everyone understands automatically that this is a sexual thing. Diapers are sexual for all adults, in my opinion. Not sure why.
The minute you tell someone you like to wear diapers, the response will be something along the lines of "oh, you kinky, pervert!" Sometimes it is said with humor and sometimes anger, but always with the sexual connection made before you explain.
Another thing I have noticed is this. In my opinion all grown (hetero or bi)women have an AB side to some degree. This is my opinion, formed from my experiences. All the women I've had relations with seemed to warm up to the idea of sex after I started to baby them.
Seriously, if you like a girl and you want to be with her, do the things that come natural to you as a daddy... holding her in your arms is essential. Spoon feed her comfort food she won't have to chew like icecream, pudding, or yogurt. Take her on outings to kid oriented places like the zoo or the carnival. Put her coat on her and zip it up. Hold a tissue to her nose and tell her to "blow". Carry her when she's tired. Spank her bottom when she speaks to you in an ugly manner, even when she's playing. She'll understand it's part of the game and I'll bet she likes it.
You get the idea. All women who like men (and are not domme) seem to want to be babied.
AS far as taking it to the next level, and getting the diaper on and having her drink that first bottle of milk, it's not as hard as you think. I am not Mr Smoothe with girls, I am not great looking, don't have a great body, large genitals, and can not lick my eyebrows... and yet, over the years I have gotten 6 girls to wear diapers for me and play baby games, and none of them ran screaming.
About the same number of girls declined my invitation to be babied, but none were angered or upset by my suggestion. Most were simply amused, but not in a mean way.
I guess I shouldn't count my wife among the 6 I have diapered since she was an AB and a DL long before we met. We met in the Yahoo Chat user created ABDL room in Feb 2002 and have been together ever since.
So, if we're all agreed that diapers on adults is a valid sexual fetish, and we can all agree that girls seem to like and even expect to be babied by their guy, why is it mostly guys cheking out Daily Diapers, Bytemine, DPF, and Wetset?
I'm not sure, but I have a theory... I think girls look at sexual stimulants in a different way. It seems to me that women are not content to stare at JPGs and masturbate like us guys are. That seems to leave them cold for the most part. In fact that is one of the differences about men and women that seems to make girl a little suspicious of men's motive in sex. Guys, like it or not, we objectify, and girls hate that.
Also there seems to be a big difference in the way men and women fantasise... men tend to imagine graphic sexual images in no particualr context. See a hot chick, imagine myself having sex with her. See a hot chick imagine her changing my diaper...
Girls seems to imagine complete senarios as part of their fantasy... See a hot guy, imagine what we will say to each other. Meet a hot guy imagine a date from getting picked up all the way through dinner and back home to bed. Ask your girl if you don't believe me.
So what I'm saying is, our favorite web sites are geared strictly to men who like diapers, and offer women who like diapers very little.
Another thing is this: Guys have no outlet for these desires as a child just starting to become aware of them.
A 6 year old boy can not play house, or ask to be babied, or have a baby doll to diaper, or generally regress at will the way a 6 year old girl can. What is allowed to develope into a healthy and small facet of a womans personality becomes a controling obbsesion in the man who never got to pursue it for fear of giving up his masculinity in front of the men whose opinion he valued so much. Sad and funny thing is, that little boy who is trying so hard not to be a baby in front of his dad has no idea that dad would flop down in the floor on his back in a heartbeat if Catherine Zeta Jones wanted to be his nanny and put him back in nappies.
So that's my theory on diapers... all adults get a sexual thrill from them, not just guys with a Daily Diapers membership. All girls who like boys need to be babied and will readily admitt that. Girls don't respond to the way the fetish is presented on male oriented sites. Girls have a constant outlet for their baby desires, and do not develope the obsession that us poor guys do. And last but not least, if you let a girl know what you want in bed, she'll probably give it a try at least once, becaus most girls are cool, and most seem to get off on making a guy get off.
