First, understand that I don't get pissed off when someone disagrees with me, particularly if they are articulate about it.
Second, the record availability requirements of the bill are rather burdensome, especially if the webmaster involved is really an amateur. Within one weeks notice is quite reasonable.
But copyright theft is going to make things downright crazy -- just post my picture with a fake notification address (preferably from my favorite right-wing preacher) and watch the fun begin....
Or, I can get rid of my pesky amateur competition by posting their particulars on my commercial material. When the cops come checking, they go to that pesky amateur and throw his but in jail, or at least harrass him to death so he has no time left to produce any pictures.
