I disagree. I think the reason your efforts to "convert" these women failed is because you're not supposed to convert them at all.
Rather, when dating vanilla women, you should weed out, early on, those gals who are unlikely to *truly enjoy* kink. Kinky gals are much more likely to be open to trying diaper play -- and are much more apt to enjoy it.
I used to throw in subtle (and not so subtle) comments on my first or second dates. Like when we would walk by a bedding store, I would point to a bed with a great metal headboard and say to her with a smile and a wink, "That would be a great headboard to be cuffed to." If she recoiled or acted lukewarm, I didn't ask her for a next date. But if she shined, then I knew I had a potentially kinky gal on my hands. :)
I dated many such gals and turned quite a few on to age play, LG play, diapers, and to diaper punishment. In fact, all I did was help turn a switch in them that already existed.
