I want to be at the Senate appropriation hearings for that.

Senator: I see here a line item for $250,000 to the Kimberly-Clark corporation. Exactly what is that for? (I made up the number)

NASA Official: Umm, that item, let me check (fumbles with papers). Here it is, that appears to be for umm, diapers.

Senator: DIAPERS, let me see if I understand you, the United States is paying $250,000 for diapers. Can't the families of NASA employees buy diapers for their children themselves?

NASA Official: Umm, these diapers are umm, for the astronauts.

Senator: We're sending astronauts into space that can't even control there own body functions!

NASA Official: Well, actually sir, it's well... there are times when umm, the astronauts have to use them.

Senator: Didn't we spend millions developing a toilet for the shuttle.

NASA Official: Yes sir, but we, that is the astronauts don't always have access to that toilet.

Senator: I'll be wanting to review this further. Now this next item. $300,000 to Gerber.

NASA Official: Ahh, that's for babybottles.

Senator: Babybottles?

NASA Official: Well without gravity you can't use a regular cup, and the sippy cups leaked. So we decided to use babybottles....
