My advise to you is this. Go ahead with some small adult sized diapers like Depends, but then get some cutesy little plastic panties for her to wear over them. You can get all kinds of "cute" plastic panties from colors, to nusery prints, and even some with frillies and lace on the butt.
My wife actually doesn't really like just the diaper look on me or her, but she is totally cool with a good cute pair of plastic panties.
