Today's kids are LAZY and smart at the same time. They want something for nothing, they will do whatever it takes to get what they want. Plus, parents don't push there kids to do anything these days (unless you live in a military like household) They don't want there kids to be stressed out, they want them to take it easy. That's why kids today are in diapers longer, plus the cost of living is more and parents are at work more and they don't always have time to potty train there kids.
