Optimisticaly, show up without your stash of diapers, check out the roommate situation for a while. If he's a shady fuck, or a shut in, or he's constantly got unsavory friends coming over and hanging out in the room, then my advice is don't bother.
If you realy want to come out then more power to you, and I wish you luck. But keep in mind, College is essentialy an extension of highschool and highschool social rules generaly apply. I wouldn't risk being, "the diaper pervert" in dorm three. I'm giving you a worst case scenerio here, but one realy should weigh the pro's and con's.
If you get there and you're roommate is never in the room, IE always out at some party or smoking reef, then perhaps you could indulge yourself. A trunk with a lock is OK if you can put it somewhere incognito, but if someone finds it they'll either bug the shit out of you about it, or break in on their own.
I suggest a security box with a strong lock. Flat out tell your roommate that that's where you keep important documents and the like, nothing valuable, just shit you don't want others to grab. Then you can stick it behing or under your bed, sneaking in some diapers at night.
Basicaly though, you're probably screwed in this department. The good news, is that it's not as hard as you might think it is. You;ve still got the internet and it's probably best to stay in as little as possible anyway, lest you become a shut in.
I'd give more advice, but I'm realy fucking tired. I hope this helped, and I wish ya good luck either way. And be sure to bring flip flops for the shower.
