I don't like the word "Diaper" either, it is a very cold, harsh word, with an obscure and stupid derivation......(French/Greek)
Try it, go on, say "Diaper" loudly, now repeat it a few times, Euuuugh! It's enough to scare the shit out of a child before the intimate contact of a change.
Hardly fit to describe the secure, soft, snug garment worn day and night by babies, or those of us who know how good it feels to forget about bathrooms for a while and just let it flow, soaking into the soft downy nap of the cloth nappy.
