Frankly, I don't know what L.E. means by "consent" since he didn't answer my question on that. I *assume* (perhaps incorrectly) that consent for him means *active* consent -- where the bottom (AB girl in his case) openly enjoys her submission, her diapers, etc. I would welcome L.E. to further explain what consent means to him.
As for my relationship with my slave, as mentioned, she currently has an "obey or leave" option. she may either obey me, or leave the relationship -- those are her only two options. But, as mentioned, I can rescind the "leave," and forbid her from leaving entirely.
Your comment, "unless you are willing to commit a crime to keep her" is exactly right, keeping her against her will might be a crime. But then again, I spank and flog and cane her -- all of which are considered felony Assault 2 under the New York State Penal Law -- so I'm already guilty of committing crimes. That doesn't concern me.
The real question is -- would I be ethical in keeping her against her will? In a sense, yes. she offered me her initial consent that I may do anything to her that I wished. That includes rescinding her right to leave.
I never intend on rescinding that right as I cherish my slave and her individuality, but my point here is that consensuality isn't a black and white issue, and the definition of which depends entirely on one's POV. Hal's stories are fictitious, but were they real, the activities therein could be considered consensual based on a broad definition set.
