I also don't like eading about wet farts or diarrhoea... but the phrase "her stomach muscles finally gave up" is also very wrong in itself... in such a case, stomach and bowel muscles are working very hard! The only muscle giving up, as a result of that, is the one at the very end - the sphincter ;-)
