I saw a report once that stated the rape theme (or sex against her will) was the predominate theme in romance books designed for women.
The really scary part about this is that some women are not in touch with their true selves / desires and I wager that a number of men have fallen victim to these women who crave a forced sex episode but once satisfied become so disgusted by their twisted feelings and the episode, they claim rape (or date rape).
You could call this a reach, but I've seen first hand how people impose their personal struggles on others in order to gain control over unwanted parts of their psyche. I'm convinced it happens all around us.
Just a thought. I should add that I in no way mean to take anything away from the true victims of rape - a horrible crime.
