just because the children are going to find what they're looking for doesn't mean I want to allow easy access to them, and besides, most if none of these videos were flagged adult content. meaning, instant access to anyone who feels the desire to look at them, and even if they were flagged, the only thing between a child and adult contents is an "accept" button. it doesn't take a rocket scientist (or an adult) to get past that one. fetishes and porn should be left to the PAYSITES where you need a credit card or a paypal to get into it.
as for allowing the child to be babysat by the computer, it's not even like that so I'd prefer that you consider all options before speaking. no way are they spending all their free time in front of a computer or tv (not in my house atleast) children have homework that sometimes requires a computer. you possibly can't sit around and watch them the entire time because you have to tend to dinner, get housework done, etc. alot of teens utilize this time to look at foul material and i don't want it to be THAT easy for them. plain and simple.
youtube has regulations but they don't have every second of every day to monitor accounts and make sure they're in line. I'm giving them a hand.
