There was a plastic sheet on my bed and a dresser drawer that usually had prefold and full size diapers and plastic pants and later mom tried a bedwetting panty that was padded and had plastic on the outside that didn't work out to well, leaks. Towards the end of my bedwetting mom got pullup diapers which were like a panty and I wore a plastic panty over them. I liked those as they gave me less of a baby feeling about wearing diapers. There was also Johnson's baby powder and Desinex for when I had rash.
