Never any problems with my family. I had to wear a nappy and plastic pants to bed until I was 8. If I wet the bed the nappy was simply thrown in the wash in the morning.
The whole time I wet the bed at least one of my younger sisters was in nappies full time so I guess my parents didn't think too much about having another nappy to wash.
