I never had any feelings about seeing them , because mine were kept in a dresser drawer as well. I felt different then other kids when I had them on. I would sit and watch TV and wehn I walked into the room the plastic pants made a crackling noise and when I sat and moved the pants crackled and my sister would look at me and she teased at first and after mom spanked her for teasing me she didn't tease me anymore. So actually I would say that once they were put on is when I felt unlike other kids my age.
