I am a 41 year old bedwetter and have been never been dry for more than a few nights at a time. I live in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
At night I wear cotton terry towelling nappies under my ordinary panties with a plastic pants (Boots) over that. I keep an old thick sheet under my ordinary sheet and there is a plastic sheet on the mattress. This is not always very effective as it can crack as it gets older and also it moves about somewhat at night. Result is that my mattress shows evidence of my night time weakness with sever large urine stains in the middle of it.
My work means that I ahve to travel a lot. When checking into a hotel I inform reception or housekeeping that I have a bladder problem and request that a waterproof cover be put over the mattress. I have never experienced any difficulty on disclosing my problem.
My biggest problem is my inability to sustain a long-term relationship with a man. Men just do not seem to be interested in going to sleep with a woman wearing plastic knickers and waking up in the morning in a bed that may be damp (or even soaked)
